Vengeance

A New York journalist and podcaster travels to a small town in West Texas after a young woman he barely dated is found dead. Her warm but eccentric family is certain she was murdered, and they want him to help them seek justice. He decides to turn the story into a true crime podcast, poking at local secrets while learning how little he understands their world. The tone blends uneasy mystery with sharp, dark comedy, using culture clash, awkward conversations and family loyalty to explore grief, guilt and the stories people tell themselves.
