Roman returns to his hometown of Portland after the sudden death of his identical twin brother Rocky, a bright, popular extrovert who was nothing like him. Lost without his other half, he joins a bereavement group for twinless twins and meets Dennis, a sharp, charming misfit who reminds him of Rocky more than he wants to admit. As they start shopping together, sharing meals and leaning on each other, their bond grows into an offbeat, sometimes uncomfortably intense bromance. The story balances dark humor with raw emotion, exploring queer identity, grief, and the strange ways people try to fill the spaces left by the ones they have lost.
