Tuner

Niki White is a former piano prodigy in New York whose hearing disorder ends his concert dreams and pushes him into quiet work tuning pianos. His mentor Harry Horowitz treats him like family, guiding him through upscale apartments and rehearsal rooms. Niki’s unusually sharp ear lets him hear the inner workings of locks as clearly as music, drawing the attention of thieves who see a safecracker instead of an artist. As he drifts deeper into risky jobs and meets composition student Ruthie, the story balances tight heist suspense with tender moments and a bittersweet, hopeful tone.
