Till

A 1955-set drama following Mamie Till-Mobley, a Chicago mother whose 14-year-old son Emmett travels to visit family in Mississippi and becomes the victim of a racist killing. The film stays close to Mamie as she navigates crushing grief, public attention, and a hostile legal system, turning her pain into quiet, determined activism. Intimate family scenes, courtroom tensions, and images of segregated Southern life create a heavy, respectful tone that focuses on love, loss, and the personal cost of fighting for justice.
