Set after the fall of Troy, the story follows Odysseus, a battle-scarred king trying to sail home to his queen Penelope and their son Telemachus across a dangerous Mediterranean. His voyage pits him against towering cyclops, raging storms, sea monsters, and a sorceress who turns men into beasts, all shot with massive, immersive scale. Back in Ithaca, scheming suitors, led by the cruel Antinous, crowd Penelope's halls as the goddess Athena nudges events from the shadows, giving the tale a blend of gritty realism, mythic awe, and emotional longing.
