As strange signs thank an unknown man named Chuck Krantz while the world quietly falls apart, a weary teacher and his ex-wife start to wonder who he is and why he matters. The story then moves backward through Chuck’s illness, his joyful dancing in a busy mall, and his childhood discoveries, revealing how an ordinary accountant’s small choices ripple through family, community, and even reality itself. The tone shifts from darkly funny and eerie to tender and hopeful, blending end-of-the-world drama with intimate moments of love, fear, and second chances.
