Joe and Angela are a long-married couple raising their daughter in a stylish San Francisco apartment that feels much colder than it looks. Their marriage is cracking under old disappointments when Angela invites upstairs neighbors Piña and Hawk over for dinner and drinks. The outgoing, non-monogamous pair bring chaos, desire and blunt honesty into the small space, turning a simple meal into a funny, uncomfortable night that pushes everyone to question what commitment, freedom and happiness really mean.
