Robert McCall, a former government assassin seeking redemption, settles in a quiet town on the southern Italian coast. While recovering under the care of kindly doctor Enzo, he discovers that the neighbors he has grown to care about live in fear of ruthless mafia enforcers. As his bond with the villagers deepens, McCall’s calm daily routine of coffee, conversation, and slow walks through sunlit streets begins to clash with his old instincts. The story blends tense, brutal action with a reflective look at aging, guilt, and the hope of finally finding a place that feels like home.
