The Drama

Emma, a Southern bookstore clerk, and Charlie, a British museum director in Boston, think they have the perfect engagement until a startling confession during a pre-wedding gathering shakes their trust. As their carefully planned week unravels, family and friends add pressure, and every glance and joke starts to feel like a test. The story blends sharp, awkward comedy with a darker, anxious tone, exploring how a single revealed fantasy can turn modern romance into a tense, satirical examination of insecurity.
