The Batman

In his second year as a masked vigilante, Bruce Wayne prowls Gotham’s filthy streets, trying to scare criminals into retreat. When a sadistic killer starts targeting the city’s political elite and leaving taunting clues, he is pulled into a long, grim investigation that exposes rotten power structures and family secrets. Working with a wary police lieutenant and crossing paths with Selina Kyle, Oswald Cobblepot and crime boss Carmine Falcone, he navigates nightclubs, back alleys and crime scenes. The tone is slow, tense and noir, heavy on atmosphere, rain, bruising fights and uneasy moral choices.
