Set on a remote Irish island in the 1920s, two lifelong drinking buddies, Pádraic and Colm, are torn apart when Colm suddenly decides he no longer wants to talk. Pádraic, helped and hindered by his sharp-tongued sister Siobhán and awkward young local Dominic, struggles to understand why the friendship is ending. Their small community watches as the rift grows darker and more extreme, mixing bleak humor, heartbreak, and quiet moments of everyday island life.
