In 1970s and 1980s New York, a young Donald Trump tries to step out of his father’s shadow and claim his place in the city’s cutthroat real estate world. He falls under the influence of Roy Cohn, a powerful fixer and lawyer who teaches him how to use intimidation, media and bold deals to get ahead. Their mentor and protégé bond drives the story, showing the personal cost of chasing success at any price. The tone is tense and unsettling, mixing glossy wealth with a dark look at power, loyalty and the making of a public persona.
