Tenzing

In this biographical adventure drama, Tenzing Norgay grows from a young yak herder in a Tibetan valley into one of the most skilled Himalayan climbers of his generation. Drawn to Everest, which he knows as the sacred goddess Chomolungma, he leaves home, builds a life with his wife Dawa, and later joins a British expedition led by Colonel John Hunt. As Western mountaineers chase glory on the world's highest peak, he seeks something more spiritual, finding an unexpected ally in expedition secretary Jill Henderson while facing harsh weather, thin air, and quiet prejudice. The tone blends awe and danger with an intimate portrait of resilience, faith, and the cost of turning a lifelong dream into reality.
