Four years after wiping his civilian identity from the world’s memory, Peter lives alone in New York and devotes himself to crime-fighting as a full-time masked hero. His quiet, anonymous routine cracks when MJ and Ned return from MIT and a strange, unseen force begins jumping between people, turning everyday life into a tense mystery. As the entity targets the Department of Damage Control, Peter is forced to seek help from Punisher and an experienced NYPD detective while his own powers twist into something unstable and frightening. The story balances grounded emotional drama about isolation and growing up with paranoid sci-fi action and flashes of disturbing body horror.
