Speak No Evil

An American couple living in London take their young daughter on a sunny Italian vacation, where they click instantly with a bold British host, his wary partner, and their quiet son. Later, a casual invitation to spend a weekend at the family’s remote farmhouse in the English countryside feels like a chance to recapture that warmth. As the guests settle in, small social slights, pushy hospitality, and strange rules turn dinner conversations and games into a slow, suffocating test of boundaries. The mood shifts from awkwardly funny to deeply unsettling, exploring how politeness and fear of conflict can trap a family in a gathering that no longer feels safe.
