Saturday Night

This comedy-drama follows young producer Lorne Michaels in the frantic 90 minutes before a new sketch show goes live from Studio 8H in 1975. As cast, writers, and crew scramble through costume changes, falling lights, unfinished sets, and clashing egos, he tries to hold the night together and protect his strange little show’s future. Set in real time with a lively 70s atmosphere, it mixes sharp banter and behind-the-scenes chaos with a nervous, hopeful energy.
