The swashbuckling cat hero discovers his love of risky adventures has cost him eight of his nine lives, leaving him suddenly afraid of death. With only one chance left, he journeys into an enchanted forest to find a legendary wishing star that might restore what he has lost. Alongside his sharp-tongued former partner Kitty Softpaws and an endlessly cheerful dog named Perrito, he faces fairy tale criminals and a haunting wolf that seems to stalk his fears. The tone mixes fast, colorful action and playful humor with tender moments about courage, friendship, and learning to value the life you still have.
