On the deadly planet Genna, a young Yautja named Dek is cast out from his clan and sent to prove himself on the most dangerous hunt of his life. His target is the Kalisk, an unkillable apex creature that has defeated every challenger. To survive the toxic storms, vicious wildlife, and rival hunters, Dek reluctantly joins forces with Thia, a damaged Weyland-Yutani android stranded and literally in pieces. Their uneasy partnership drives a tense, fast moving mix of sci fi action, creature horror, and sharp character drama as an underdog warrior learns what kind of hunter he wants to be.
