Perfect Days

Hirayama is a quiet middle-aged man who cleans public toilets in Tokyo and lives alone in a small apartment. His days follow a strict routine of careful work, cassette tapes in his van, simple meals, and photos of trees in city parks. The story watches him move through crowded streets and peaceful corners with calm attention, finding small moments of joy and dignity in ordinary tasks. As he meets a cheeky young coworker, a niece who suddenly appears, and strangers in bars and public bathrooms, his reserved world gently opens without drama, in a slow, reflective tone.
