Mayday

In 1987, daredevil Navy pilot Troy Kelly flies a covert SR-71 Blackbird mission over Soviet territory and ends up stranded deep behind enemy lines. He is found by Nikolai Ustinov, a gruff ex-KGB officer who secretly loves American movies, music, and junk food. Their uneasy partnership turns into a wild trek through the Russian wilderness, dodging soldiers, awkward interrogations, and chaotic set pieces that blend tense action with sharp, character-driven comedy. As they scheme their way toward the border, the story mixes Cold War thrills with a warm, offbeat look at loyalty, fear, and unexpected friendship.
