Ayumu Fujino is a confident schoolgirl known for the manga strips she draws for her class newspaper, until her teacher adds panels by Kyomoto, a shy homeschooled artist whose talent unsettles her. Their rivalry slowly turns into collaboration as they start visiting each other, sketching side by side and dreaming of becoming professional manga creators. The story follows their bond over many years, mixing gentle humor with quiet, emotional moments about ambition, insecurity and how art can connect two very different lives.
