Left-Handed Girl

2025, 1h 48min, Drama

A single mother, Shu-Fen, moves back to Taipei with her two daughters, moody student I-Ann and curious five-year-old I-Jing, to run a small noodle stall in a crowded night market. As they chase a fragile fresh start, money problems, strict family traditions and the city’s chaos press in on them from every side. When I-Jing’s left hand is branded a devil hand by her grandfather’s superstition, the girl’s playful imagination collides with the quiet shame carried by the adults. The story balances lively street life with intimate, sometimes painful moments, creating a bittersweet, often funny portrait of three generations of women.
