Late Shift

Floria, a young nurse in a Swiss surgical ward, starts another overnight shift expecting the usual rush of tasks, only to find the team short-staffed and one colleague out sick. With more than two dozen patients, a nervous trainee and doctors who are rarely on the floor, she races between beds, monitors and ringing phones, trying to stay calm while exhaustion creeps in. The film follows her in near real time, turning everyday hospital work into a quietly gripping, emotionally raw drama that highlights the strain, small acts of kindness and constant sense of urgency that come with keeping patients safe.
