Flora and Son

A young single mother in Dublin is barely holding her life together while her teenage son keeps getting into trouble. After she drags a battered guitar out of a dumpster to give him a hobby, he shrugs it off, so she starts learning to play it herself through online lessons with a laid-back musician in Los Angeles. As she stumbles through chords over video calls and discovers that her son secretly makes beats on his laptop, their small flat fills with new songs, clashes, and jokes. The story has a rough, chatty tone, mixing sharp humor with tender moments as music slowly becomes their way of talking about love, frustration, and second chances.
