Dream Scenario

A mild, nondescript evolution professor and father, Paul Matthews finds his dull routines shattered when millions of people report seeing him wander through their dreams, doing nothing but quietly observing. Overnight he becomes a strange kind of celebrity, courted by media and marketing people who want to turn his eerie new fame into clicks and money. As the dreams begin to warp into violent nightmares, Paul’s sweater-and-glasses image starts to feel sinister, and his once ordinary family life twists into an anxious, darkly comic commentary on viral fame and cancel culture. The tone blends awkward humor, surreal anxiety, and creeping horror, staying focused on the bizarre phenomenon rather than revealing where it ultimately leads.
