In 1930, the Crawley family and their loyal staff face a changing world, mounting debts, and the fallout from Lady Mary's scandalous divorce. As newspapers attack the estate and whispers of disgrace spread, Mary is pushed toward leadership while Lord Grantham questions the future of his legacy. Downstairs, Mr Carson and Mrs Patmore consider retirement, Anna awaits another baby, and Daisy and Andy step into new roles. The story balances quiet humor, romance, and bittersweet farewells as the household prepares for a new generation to carry the estate forward.
