DogMan

Douglas, a man left disabled after a brutal childhood locked in a dog kennel by his father, lives on the fringes of New Jersey with dozens of dogs he treats as his family. Arrested while wearing glamorous drag and driving a truck full of his closest companions, he slowly opens up to a calm psychiatrist, revealing how his deep bond with the animals became both his refuge and his weapon. The film mixes gritty crime, psychological drama, dark humor, and lyrical moments of performance as this damaged outsider uses his loyal pack to help the powerless and push back against the cruel people who once caged him.
