After a bizarre nightmare and a chaotic attack in New York, Doctor Stephen Strange meets America Chavez, a teenager who can jump between universes but cannot control her power. Together with Wong and Wanda Maximoff, he must protect America from dark forces that want to use her gift, sending them through warped realities, alternate versions of familiar faces, and eerie, horror-tinged worlds. The tone is darker and stranger than many Marvel stories, full of wild visuals, offbeat humor, and emotional moments about choice, regret, and what makes a life worth living.
