In a fragile young democracy, public prosecutor Julio Strassera is tasked with taking former military leaders to court for crimes committed under the dictatorship. With deputy Luis Moreno Ocampo and an improvised team of mostly young lawyers, he races to gather evidence while facing political pressure, fear, and threats. The film’s tone blends intense courtroom and investigation scenes with moments of everyday family life and dry humor, showing how ordinary people shoulder an enormous moral burden without turning their struggle into a history lecture.
