A nostalgic animated coming-of-age story set in suburban Houston during the summer of 1969, following fourth-grader Stan, the youngest of six in a NASA family. As the moon landing approaches, his days mix school, siblings, TV shows, and playground adventures with a secret invitation from government agents to train for a top-secret mission in a capsule built too small for grown astronauts. Told with warm humor and an adult Stan’s voice looking back, it blends everyday childhood details, space-age wonder, and gentle fantasy to capture what it felt like to grow up in the shadow of rockets.
