In crowded Mumbai, nurse Prabha shares a small flat with her younger colleague Anu, both working long shifts at a city hospital. Their days are filled with patients, gossip, and quiet worries they rarely say out loud. Prabha’s routine is shaken when a gift arrives from the husband who left for Germany years ago, stirring feelings she thought had settled. Anu hides her romance with a Muslim boyfriend while searching for a corner of the city where they can be alone. When a coworker faces eviction, the three women drift from neon streets to a calm seaside town, where night skies, waves, and shared stories open space for tenderness, doubt, and the fragile hope of change.
