At a remote holiday home by the Baltic Sea, anxious novelist Leon and his friend Felix hope to work and relax, but find Nadja already staying there, soon joined by lifeguard Devid and Leon's editor. As dry summer forest fires creep closer, lazy beach days, shared meals and long nights turn into awkward flirtations, sharp conversations and bruised egos. The tone is intimate and quietly funny, watching a self absorbed writer clash with more open, carefree people while a very real danger smolders in the background.
